With extended family flying in from Canada, I could feel this family’s determination to go through with this shoot (freezing) rain or shine – because when family is together in one place you have to document it! The Flasko family and I braced ourselves for cold weather and frozen ground at the Mercer Slough the week right before Christmas, but all that being said, it ended up being a warm and drizzly morning, an end to the cold snap we were having! It was better than I could ask for when shooting with little ones.
This gorgeous family was my last shoot of the year, and I can’t think of a better bunch of people to end the year with. Thank you Flaskos for being fun, eager and so gosh darn photogenic. The holidays are, and always will be, that time to just stop and gather together, so I hope everyone had a holiday just like theirs!
2017 is upon us with new resolutions, and for me, new inspirations. Happy New Year!
